    Start up (MS Office 2003)

When I start MS Outlook I get a panel headed Personal Folders and a messagesayinf "This iformation service has not been configured -----.Select an existing file ........etc etc. Not knowint what to do I click OK and then get a panel headed Create/Open Personal Folders showing three files archive .pst backup.pst and outlook .pst I click the X to close this panel and get a panel headed Personal Folders and a message proerties must be defined prior to use. I click the x or close and then MS Outlook opens up and runs perfectly normally. Does any one have a clue how I can get rid of the annoying start procedure. It is new - very recent - no idea why it is happening
    Cheers

What happens if you select Outlook.pst in the dialog that appears?

Also see MSKB article Error message in Outlook 2003 or in Outlook 2002: "This information service has not been configured"
