    Inmport Specifications (Access2003)

    Hi,
I am using Import data from text file into template. I go Import data and on Import Text Wizard I am selecting Advanced - then - Specs and I see templates I select.
Can someone please, tell me where can I find these Templates and edit it?

I have one field in the text file that does not get Imported because there is no place for this field in the table and I need to add it to the Template.

    Thanks

Where do you see "Template" or "Templates"?

Edited by HansV to replace Word doc with the picture it contained - much easier for the user (and smaller too)

When I click Advanced-Specs - there is a window where our own Templates are shown.
    I am attaching the visual.
Hires YTD and Terms YTD are my templates where I am uploading text files to.

OK, so you meant specifications instead of templates (it helps if you use correct terminology, the window explicitly mentions "specifications", there's no mention of "templates").

You can edit a specification by selecting it in the list and clicking Open. You can add and remove fields, change their properties etc. When done, click Save As... to save the modified specification.

It is great! I am taking a chance to thank you again (I was away) - it is brilliant! Never knew this (and many other things:-( )
