    quartto pro

Someone sent me a quartto pro file which I opened. I don't know if it was the file or just a coincidence but now when ever I try to open quartto pro I get this error. When I click OK then it closes. So.....I uninstalled WP 3X and reinstalled the whole program. But it still does it.
Since it says at the top of the error "Microsoft Visul C++...," I thought it might be a Vista thing....??? So I thought I would ask here before trying to find some WP boards..
    Any thoughts
Oh..the rest of WP all load and work OK.

Microsoft Visual C++ is the programming language in which Quattro Pro was written, so it uses the corresponding runtime library.

    Try the following:
    - Click Vista's Start button.
    - Click in the search box.
    - Type regedit and press Enter.
    - Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareCorelUser Assistant13Recent WorkQuattroProLast Opened
    - Delete this key.
    - Quit Regedit.
    - Try to start Quattro Pro.

What if your local back-up disks are stolen or damaged (fire, flood, earthquake)
What are you going to do?
LOCAL and OFFSITE back-up - the only true way to protect your data.
