    Why this error??? when the code unprotect sheets STAT_NEW....

    I did a Google search, here are the results Error 32809, most seem to refer to Excel 97 and Active X controls, perhaps there is something among them that will help you

    Based on what Hans posted, if you use controls that you can't be set to remove the focus, you can try adding the line at the start of the code:
    <pre>ActiveCell.Select</pre>


    to have VB remove the focus.
