Preventing a workstation becoming locked (XP Pro SP3)

I spent some time playing with the registry setting 'DisableLockWorkstation', only to find on reading the documentation rather more carefully, that this value simply disables the "Lock Workstation' button!

I would like a per-user way of setting the appropriate registry parameter to prevent a workstation from locking after an interval. It can't be as simple as just setting the Screen-Saver "Wait nn minutes" value to 1440 (or whatever) somewhere in the registry, because that won't cater for the case where the Screen Saver is set to '(none)'.

    All creative ideas welcomed!

No! In fact it is a Terminal Server RDP session, and I want to keep that open until the user decides to log it off, or the PC gets shut down, or I kill the Terminal Server session(s) with the usual BATch file before backing up the server.

Extensive Googling has given me a couple of Group Policy settings which I can set for my "Terminal Server locked-down users" OU. I am awaiting feedback on the success or otherwise of these...

I was going to say, I thought on the server you can set the timeout for RDP sessions.
