    Quicken Version

A friend has been using Quicken 2000 Basic. He needs to reformat his computer in order to resolve some problems. He can not find his Quicken 2000 disk. Another friend has Quicken 2001 Deluxe and Quicken 2003 Basic. Will he be able to restore his Quicken 2000 backup data files to one of these newer versions?

    Thanks for your help.

    Re: Quicken Version

In my many years of experience with Quicken I've never known it to be a problem with reading older data files into a newer version. I'd be a little more concerned with the possible copyright problems of using someone else's copy of the software.

    Re: Quicken Version

Not to worry - the other friend no longer uses Quicken and is going to give the disk to my friend. So it will only be used on one system. Thanks for your response.
