Changing colors used in Excel charts (2003)

I need to change the colours that Excel uses when producing charts. I have managed to do this using Tools, Options, Color which works perfectly on the current spreadsheet. However, if I then go to another workbook, the colors revert to the default setting. I have discovered that I can copy the chart colors from an existing workbook, but is there any way I can change the settings so that I don't have to do this each time? As always, any help you are able to give will be much appreciated.

If you set the defaults, you can save this workbook as a template in the "XLStart" folder with the name "Book.xlt". Then any new workbooks will be created with the scheme.

You will have to copy a copy colors from an existing workbook to add to any exisiting workbooks however
