OE Minimizes on opening (OE 6)

When loading OE, the OE window would open fully on the desktop. About 2 weeks ago, when it loads it now minimizes itself to a small bar with the minimize/maximize/close buttons in the upper left corner of the desktop. I don't know of any changes I have made to cause this to happen. I also can't find any options under Tools/Options to change it back. Does anyone know how to get OE back to the way it was? This is the only thing I see that has changed.

    TIA,

What happens if you maximize OE, then close it? Does it start as a small bar next time?

    Hans,
I almost always close out OE by clicking on the X. After I sent my reply back to you, it dawned on me to try File|Exit to close. I did and sure enough it now opens maximized. Thanks for kicking my brain in gear! Thanks.

    Try the following:
    - Quit Outlook Express.
    - Select Start | Run...
    - Type regedit and press Enter or click OK.
    - Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USERIdentities{...}SoftwareMicrosoftO utlook Express5.0 where ... stands for a long string of letters and digits, for example 12345ABC-ABCD-12A1-ABC1-12A12AB12345.
    - Click on the 5.0 key, then look for an item called BrowserPos in the right hand pane.
    - Click on BrowserPos then press the Delete key, and confirm that you want to delete this value.
    - Quit RegEdit.
    - Start Outlook Express.
