    Outlook plug-in needed (Office XP)

I read about 50 new emails each day. About 20 or 30 of them are ones that I need to take action on. Presently I print out all of these emails, then act on them during the day. I'd like to find a plug-in that would allow me to add the subject & body content of these important emails to a "daily work summary" on two or three pages that I could then print out. Not only saving a lot of paper but also making it easier to organize the tasks.

Has anyone seen anything like this, or knows where I might look for it and what it might be called?

    Thanks

You might find something that can do that, but it seems like you'd still be printing a lot of messages. And in native Outlook you can select multiple noncontiguous messages and print them in one run. Would you consider some other approaches, such as creating a new Folder called "To do" in your Favorite Folders, and copy the task messages there, then delete or move each task message as it is completed.

I need to have the messages printed, so your "To Do" folder idea would not work for me.
I'd like to have just the content from the 30 or so selected emails combined on a few pages that I can take with me. It would be much less paper to deal with.

    Thanks

OK. You understand that you can select a number of discontiguous messages, and then print them continuously on consecutive sheets? Use Ctrl-click to select the messages you want to print, then click the print button and select Print. You will get more than just Subject and Body, you'll also get To:, From:, Sent:, and CC:, but that only adds a few lines you don't need.

You might want to check out the tools at Automatic Messaging Processing Tools, Special Function Automatic Messaging Processing Tools, & Message Extraction Tools. Some are <img src=/S/free.gif border=0 alt=free width=30 height=15>, many are not.

Thanks, but when I do this it still prints only one email per page, so I am left with 30 pages, each with one or two sentences on them. I'd like to get all the messages on a few sheets of paper.

I just looked into this too, but I can find no way to print them other than just one task per page.

    Thanks

If you make a contiguous selection in list view, they can be copied and pasted into Excel.
