Attached jpg of a vb that HansV wrote a little time ago - XferRatings.

Is it possible to change the value of Range("BF"...... by UserInput to any Range as required. e.g "BG", "CA" . etc ?

    Re: handicap2 (excel 2007)

Add the following lines near the beginning of the macro, before the line For j = 24 To 32:

    Dim strCol As String
strCol = InputBox("Enter column to use, e.g. BF")
    If strCol = "" Then
MsgBox "You didn't enter a column.", vbExclamation
    Exit Sub
    End If

    Change the line

    Range("BF" & m) = ...

    to

    Range(strCol & m) = ...
