The solution to a DVD drive problem I experienced recently involved deleting some registry entries to be found at HKLM> SYSTEM> CurrentControlSet> Control> Class> {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}. The solution resolved the problem, but I was surprised to see that there were 24 entries with the same key. Is this a normal situation for the registry?

They're not the same - the 7th/8th digit are different.
I have the same keys in Windows XP, so I assume it's normal.
