Mimic look of 'group header' with label (2000/XP)

I'm currently using a group header in a report but have just been informed the effect isn't what's wanted.

I need to sort my report on 3 fields but mimic the way a group header looks.

I guess I need to populate a label only if the value is different to the value in the preceding row on the report.

I'm not sure what exactly you want, but perhaps you can use the Hide Duplicates property of text boxes - if this is set to Yes, the text box will not be displayed if it contains the same value as the previous record.
