    SP3 (Service Pack 3)

I installed Service Pack 3 on my PC with no problems, but when I installed it on my laptop, I got the message "SP3 IS NOT FULLY INSTALLED--your computer may not respond well. I will be uninstalling it (what is left) with Easy uninstaller.

Will you then be reinstalling it on your laptop?

Should be worth it, particularly if you want to keep both in synchronization.

Long ago, there was a time when men cursed and beat on the ground with sticks. It was called witchcraft.
    Today it is called golf!

If you let Windows Update decide what to download for SP-3, I recommend you see <post:=740,463>post 740,463</post:>. It has links for downloading the complete SP-3. Usuing the full file has resolved installation issues for many people. Also, see the "Addtional Resources" section at How to obtain the latest Windows XP service pack for links to more information about getting SP-3 installed.
