    Pivot Table Formatting (2003)

I have a pivot with numbers pulled in from another workbook. The numbers on the detail sheet are formatted in dollars and cents with comma separating thousands... I cannot get the numbers in the pivot to format in this way with commas and 2 decimal points. Some cells contain numbers that are many numbers to the right of the decimal place and I can get none to format with commas.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

Click anywhere in the data area of the pivot table.
Select Pivot Table | Field Settings... from the Pivot Table toolbar, or right-click a cell in the data area and select Field Settings... from the popup menu.
Click the Number... button in the Pivot Table Field dialog and set the number format there.
