Disappearing Field in Report! (2007)

I have a report I designed that has a Yes/No field-- or is supposed to.

It inserts (using the wizard) and shows up all the way to the end, but when I click "Preview", the field is gone!

Where'd it go?? And more to the point WHY/HOW?? And then, how do I get it back?

I've redone this report at least a dozen times, all with the same result!

What the heck? And how do I fix this?

Reports are intended to be printed on paper. Perhaps the Yes/No field ended up outside the printed area of the page.
Check the following:
- In File | Page Setup: the paper size, page orientation and margins.
- The position of the control bound to the Yes/No field.

For example, if your report is set up for Letter size paper in Portrait orientation, the page is 8.5" wide.
The default left and right margins are 1" wide, so 6.5" is left for the contents of the report. If the Left property of the control is 8", it will clearly fall outside the printed area.

I found it -- kind of!

The checkboxes show up in print preview View, but NONE of the others. And then, just the checkboxes, but no column title.

?

This is too strange.

I don't think it's possible for us to tell what's going on without seeing (a stripped down and zipped copy of) the database.

I can't help you with this - I don't have Access 2007 so I can't open databases in .accdb format. But there are several Loungers who do have 2007.

The Linens check box is present on the report but it has zero width; the same goes for the corresponding label in the page header.

You can still select Linens from the Object dropdown (assuming Access 2007 still has that), then set its width to some positive number, e.g. 0.4". The same goes for the Linens_Label label.

In 2007, on the Arrange tab there's the Property Sheet button... Lo and below, the width of the column was 0"!

Why not in Print Preview I wonder?

Anyway, thanks just one more time Hans. That solved it.
