    Outlook Message format` (VBA OL2k)

    My Word project creates a PDF file and emails it to a client. Is there are way to programmatically set the message format from the users default to plain text?

    TIA.

    Yes there is. You've got to edit the code that produces the mail message. Do you have access to the code? If so, post it so weez can take a look. <img src=/S/eyeout.gif border=0 alt=eyeout width=15 height=15>

    <font face="Comic Sans MS">Hi Kevin,

    Here's the code that generates the message.
    </font face=comic>
    Dim appOl As New Outlook.Application
    Dim itemEmail As Outlook.MailItem

    Set itemEmail = appOl.CreateItem(olMailItem)

    With itemEmail
    .To = MyAddr
    .Attachments.Add MyPdf
    .Subject = MySubject
    .Body = BodyTxt
    If .GetInspector.EditorType <> olEditorText Then
    SendKeys "%o"
    SendKeys "t"
    SendKeys "y"
    End If
    .Display
    End With

    <font face="Comic Sans MS">As you can see, I've used SendKeys as a workaround for now but I'm sure there's a better way. <img src=/S/shrug.gif border=0 alt=shrug width=39 height=15>

    Cheers,
