    Remove caps from TOC (2003)

When I select heading 1 for my headers, I do not select for it to be caps but for some reasons it shows up as caps in the table of contents. Could someone show me how to remove this function?

    Thank you.

The Table of Contents has its own set of styles corresponding to its levels (without this, the layout would be complete chaos). Try examining the applicable TOC style, and any possible interaction with your Heading 1 style or direct formatting.

I was able to locate the "all caps" within the TOC to disable it. Thank you.
