Compressed Images in HTML Emails (2007 SP1)

We often send out Emails with our Company Logo, which is quite small (37kb). However, although it's already a small JPG, Outlook compresses it again and makes it look pixelated. Is there any way to force Outlook to stop compressing images inserted into the Body of the Email?

    Thanks in advance.

I've seen several complaints about this behavior, and the proposed solutions by Outlook MVPs don't seem to work, at least not consistently.
So I guess you'll have to live with it or do without the logo.

Does using a PNG instead of JPG help?

Thanks Hans. Maybe MS will do something about this in the next version of Outlook (wish-list, huh?).

John, thanks for your suggestion. I tried a PNG, but it gets compressed/pixelated too.

    Anyway, thanks for both replies.

    Have a good week.

    Take care
