    Memo Field (2003/Access)

    Morning...

    How would I declare an item in VBA to accept the entire length of a memo field...is this at all possible?

    Any help would be appreciated...

    Thanks...

    A string variable can hold strings of variable length, so you can use something like

    Dim strMemo As String
    strMemo = Me.MemoField

    It is limited to the first 255 characters.

    I am retrieving it from a column in a list box...is this where the limitation lies?

    Yes. By the way, I'm moving this thread to the Access forum, where it belongs.

    You'll have to refer somehow to the memo field itself, not to a column in a combo box.
