Outlook calendar

I believe that you can show the day on your calendar view not just the date - ie January 1 (Monday) - does anyone know how??

not sure i follow - where are you looking? no matter, some date features are dependant on you windows setting. change the display in the control panel to long date.

What I am looking for is for the day to be displayed at the top of the appointments section in calendar - ie shows 19 January (Friday) not just 19 January as in the attached file

try changing the date format in the control panel - (regional settings or date applet?) That is what controls how the dates are displayed.

My Settings, Control Panel, Regional, Date is set US standard long date "dddd, MMMM dd, yyyy", and my Outlook Day View displays "Saturday, Jan 20".
