Finish Animation in Slide Show (2007)

When in slide show mode, is there a way to jump to the end of an animation without having to play it step by step.

    Thanks...

Do you mean "After Previous" auto animations or "On Click"

    For the former hit SPACE

No. If the slide has any animations (independent of whether they were created with "on click" or "after previous", they can take time to animate. Sometimes during a presentation, it is necessary to just jump to the final build of the slide. If you hold the right arrow key down, it will build quick, but it may also jump to the next slide (which is not desired). I just want to press some hotkey combination that will quickly complete the build process for the current slide.

    Hi Joe

I have been thinking about this and cannot come up with an elegant solution but a workaround may be

    1. Create an invisible hyperlink somewhere on the slide
    2, Copy the animated slide
    3. Remove all animation from the copy
    4. Place 2 invisible hyperlinks on the copy, one back to the animated slide, or one to the next slide
    5. When you want to stop the animation hyperlink to the copy

I practised this on a couple of machines and even on a slowish machine the transation was seamless.
