    WEEKNUM (Excel 2003)

    Hi,

I have a small challenge, I am using a cell to check a date and then determines the week number using the WEEKNUM command, this works fine but when it rolls to a new year the week number obviously resets back to 1, so I am adding 52 inthis case but does not work. I am using

    =if(WEEKNUM(A1)<20,WEEKNUM(A1)+52,WEEKNUM(A1))

This gives me 52 for an WEEKNUM value of less than 20.

    Any hints.

    Regards

    Mike

It's not clear to me what you want to accomplish, but the formula should return values > 52 for dates in the first 19 weeks of the year - see screenshot.

    Re: WEEKNUM (Excel 2003)

    Hi Hans,

Thanks, I have found the error, stupid mistake, some dates were missing so weeknum would have been 0, hence 52.

    Regards

    Mike
