A calendar besides a textbox for date entry (MS Access 2007)

Some of my reports needs a begindate and a enddateas parameter.
To make it easy for the user to input these dates, a dialogbox appears with two textboxes, one for entering the begindate and one for entering the enddate.
Most of the time it is practical to have a calendar popping up to let the user choose a date, but sometimes the two date are so far away from each other, that in such a case it is better to enter the date directly in the textbox.
The notation for the textbox is set to "short date", and the property datepicker i ( I hope I translated it correctly) is set to dates.
However, when the textbox get the focus, the textbox shows the symbols for the wright notation, but i don't see a calendar. What did i do wrong?

I'm finding that the date picker icon only appears when I have a bound date field. All my unbound date fields do not have the date picker.

I think Don is right. The built in Date Picker only appears for bound fields.

I attach a demo with a calendar form and module that works with any text box. I usually use a double click to bring up the Calendar.
