    Chart labels (Ex2003)

I have created an interactive application that displays up to 8 'products' with for each up to two plots (one on the primary and one using the right, secondary, Y-axis). Obviously, that's crowed, so I am using Excel formulas to be able to not display e.g. the charts on the right scale.
My problem is that even though I'm not displaying the charts (by setting the values to NA() in an Excel formula), the plot LEGENDs below the chart remain. Actually, I'd like to ALWAYS switch off one set of 8 labels (for the left or right axis) as I only need the product-labels displayed (the plots on the left and right axis use the same color so the products can be identified).

Not that I cannot 'hardcode' the labels as I also use drop-downs to select different products.

I hope my explanation is clear enough; in summary: can I (using VBA is not a problem) selectively not display labels for plots on a chart (and I mean, not the text and not the small piece of line identifying the plot).

    Thanks!

    Re: Chart labels (Ex2003)

I could delete them manually... it was that simple!

Just select the specific legend, first it selects just the line & marker but the next time you click on it, it selects the whole legend for the specific plot. Now just press "Delete" to do the job.
