    Controls (2000)

Hi, i have a list of names and wish to populate each with a skill they have from one of many skills. Is there a way of putting a combo with the skills (I know how to do this bit) but then populate the corresponding cell to a given name with the appropriate skill selected from the combo. Example cell A1: Person 1, Cell A2: skill (populated from selecting from the combo), Cell B1: Person 2, Cell B2: skill selected from the combo.

    Kind regards Darren.

Select your list of skills and define a range name (Insert, name, define), say "SkillList" (no quotes).
Then select your cells B2:B100 (or however far this should go)
Data, Validation, List option. In the Source box type: =SkillList
