    HTML Graphics Not Showing (2007)

If you have graphics set up to download automatically, and they do for most all mail, is there any way that one specific address could be set to NOT download graphics automatically, when all the others do?

'Cause this one address isn't showing graphics, where all the others are.

    ?

    Regards,
    Chuck Billow

Are the graphics a link to a site? (You can right-click and "view source" on an email, and see if the graphics are embedded using an html hyperlink to an online graphic). I don't know your work situation, but it is possible if the graphics are links, those links might be blocked by some internet firewall settings.

    Tracy:

Yes they are links to sites generally. But this is on a private computer, so there are nor blocked sites I don't know of, and the sender is on my whitelist.

    Chuck,
I'm assuming, then -- that you have also tried copying this web link location of the graphic, and seeing if it will just open in a regular browser window (outside of Outlook)? That would narrow it down to definitely just being an Outlook issue - if you can view the same graphics, using that links embedded in the e-mail, in a new browser window.

    Tracy:

The links in the graphics *go to* web sites, and work fine -- in or out of Outlook. It's just the graphics them selves. And it's one sender, and more than just one e-mail.

    Regards,
    Chuck

I'm sorry - I guess I don't have any other possible answers. Sounds lke you have already thought of everything I would have tested -- and it is unusual for it to just be the one sender. Usually for graphics it's kind of an all-or-nothing.
Hopefully Hans or someone can find a miracle cure for you, Chuck

    Joe:

They're just straight site links ( http://www.purposedrivenlife.com/en-US/Home/home.htm ) or ( http://www.purposedrivenlife.com/en-US/Ema...3-9709B5DEFF7D} ) . I'm not adept enough to know where the graphic itself comes from. I do know though, that up until the last week or so they worked.

It WAS about the time I re-set up everything, so it (must) maybe be some setting of mine. But I e-mailed the site itself as well.

    Regards,
    Chuck

Yes, those links are what you see when you cursor over/click the images that are not coming up.

You are looking in the source for the <img> tag. A linked image will look like this:

    <code></code>

For embedded images, usually there is something like cid: and a long, random number in the URL.

It was something at their end Jefferson, 'cause I just got another e-mail, and it's fixed in this one./

    Thanks for the help though.
