    Comment-Out a Block of Code (Access 2000)

In Access 97 I used an Add-in to comment-out (insert a ' before) each line in a highlighted block of text or code. When I looked for a version of that Add-in for Access 2000 several years ago my recollection is that I learned that Access 2000 has that functionality built into it. Now that I need it I can't find it!

Is that a built-in capability? Where is it?

    Thanks,
    Bill

You need to invoke the "Edit" tool bar. There is a Comment Block and an Uncomment Block button on the tool bar.

I'm using 2K3 and am assuming the functionality is also in 2000

Yes, it is the same way in Access 2000! I closed that toolbar a few weeks ago when I didn't see any need for it! The buttons there work fine now that I recognize what two of them are for.

    Thanks,
    Bill
