    File access denied (2007)

I run a 2-disk system with XP SP2 on one disk and Vista SP1 on the other. I use XP for most purposes and run Outlook from there. When I run Outlook from the Vista disk and point the personal data folder at the same pst file I use in XP I get a 'File Access Denied' message. I check in Explorer and there are no 'read only' blockages. How do I go about ensuring one current pst file can serve both OS's?

If your PST is in XP's cocuments and Settings or Vista's c:Users path, I think then Windows security will kick in. You might be better off using a "neutral" location, such as c:OutlookData.
