    Report Format (2000)

I'm working on a report for quotes.
I have our logos in the header.
Company information at the top of the detail, followed by product to be quoted.

I want our terms at the bottom of the report. I tried to put it on the Page Footer but then if the product selection runs over onto multiple pages, the terms are at the bottom of each one. I've added a QuoteGrpFooter but then if the product selection is a short list, the terms are in the middle of the page, which doesn't work either. I want them at the bottom of the rpt for each Quote Group and close to the bottom of the page...I hope that makes sense.

Do you always print these quotes one at a time?

You can put the terms in the page footer, but suppress them if it is not the last page.

Private Sub PageFooterSection_Format(Cancel As Integer, FormatCount As Integer)

    if [page] = [pages] then
    me.txtTerms.visible =true
    else
    me.txtterms.visible=false
    end if
    end sub

But this would not work if you printed a batch of Quotes.

Microsoft provides a sample reports database which demonstrates a wide range of report techniques.

    Re: Report Format (2000)

We will print them one at a time so that this will work because the terms don't look right in the middle of the page.

These are the fields that I want at the bottom of the page:

    TERMS & CONDITIONS
    PAYMENT TERMS
    PRICE PROGRAM
    FREIGHT TERMS
    LEAD TIMES

I've worked with the codes a little bit but usually just by pasting them in. I clicked on the Page Footer and then clicked on Code. Was that correct or do I need to go to the properties and then create an event?

Also, do I repeat the code for each text (memo) field?

    me.txtTERMS & CONDITIONS.visible =true
    else
    me.txtTERMS & CONDITIONS.visible=false
    else
    me.txtPAYMENT TERMS.visible =true
    else
    me.txtPAYMENT TERMS.visible=false

    and so on...

You need to go to the Properties Box, click on the PageFooter, then back at the Properties Box, go to the Event Page.
In the On Format event, click the drop down and select [Event Procedure], then click the 3 dots.

    Then put in this code.

Private Sub PageFooterSection_Format(Cancel As Integer, FormatCount As Integer)

    if [page] = [pages] then
    me.[TERMS & CONDITIONS].visible=true
    me.[PAYMENT TERMS].visible=true
    me.[PRICE PROGRAM].visible=true
    me.[FREIGHT TERMS].visible=true
    me.[LEAD TIMES].visible=true
    else
    me.[TERMS & CONDITIONS].visible=false
    me.[PAYMENT TERMS].visible=false
    me.[PRICE PROGRAM].visible=false
    me.[FREIGHT TERMS].visible=false
    me.[LEAD TIMES].visible=false
    end if

    End sub
