    wath is correct? (2000)

    i have a table in sql express instance...
    i want to store in field a var dimensioned string long 2 characther.
    when i set the param in table how to set column in table:

    nvarchar(2)
    or
    text

    ???

    For ordinary text, use VarChar(2).

    If you need to store unicode characters, use NVarChar(2).

    Text and NText are for very long text strings.

    ...
    if i have understand in this case i can use use VarChar(2), or not?

    Yes. (The values 11 and 77 will be stored as text, not as numbers)
