Is this a question about the syntax for htaccess or another Apache config file? It might be beyond the scope of this board, but a little more context would be helpful.

more details - i have a website and for the employee part i have it in a password protection directory. www.turnstone.org is the organization where the link is located.

I want to bypass the user/password prompt when they are at the work location. I read that i could do this by changing the file .htaccess that is in the password protected directory.
That file is what makes the folder password protected. The key word to make the bypass work is "satisfy all" i am trying to update the htaccess file with that code word correctly
to bypass the password prompt when coming from the company's internet gateway, their ip.

I have not had any luck in the process of testing.

Okay, I see where you get that syntax (http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/mod/core.html#satisfy). Sorry, I'm not familiar with how that works.

Hmmm, I could interpret that two different ways. <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15> I think a forum more familiar with Linux and Apache would be a better forum than the Lounge for this question.
