    Environment variables (Win XP Office 2003)

    Where do you set these variables? This is what I get for the parameter 4.

    environ(4)
    CLIENTNAME=Console

    They are usually set by Windows during startup, and you can set them in a Command Prompt window using the SET command. If you type SET /? in a command prompt window, you'll get an overview.

    (This is not an Access question, by the way)
