Generating ToC for numbered tabs (Office XP)

    Hi gang,
I am preparing a how-to binder. I have a cover page and a ToC page and then the different sections. Every section starts at page 1. Physically, once printed, the sections will be separated by numbered tabs. I want my ToC to look like this:

    How to do this...................Tab 1
    How to do that...................Tab 2

I tried to generate a ToC using Heading 1 for my text and Heading 9 for the chapter number with the text "Tab" in it and using the insert chapter number in the page numbering:

    How to do this...................1-1
    How to do that...................2-1

Cute but not what I want. I inserted numbering to ToC1 style and got:

Tab 1 How to do this
Tab 2 How to do that

Close, but no cigar. I am running out of ideas here. Help!

There's no built-in support for that. I fear that you'll have to hand-craft your own pseudo-TOC, for example using cross-references.

Just what I was afraid of. I will have to "get creative" once more.
    Tks Hans.
