    import Quicken .QFX file (Excel 2000)

    I am looking for a free way to convert or import a .qfx (Quicken) file into Excel. Thx!

    You can open the .qfx file in Quicken and export it (from Reports) to a .csv file. Excel opens .csv files directly.
    If you don't have Quicken, try to find someone who does and ask them to export to .csv for you.

    thanks - I should have mentioned that I don't have Quicken and don't know anyone who does...

    OFX Reader for Excel claims to be able to import OFX, QFX, and QBO files into Excel. It's not free, but you can download a fully functional 15-day trial version.
