Legacy Visio Files (2000 for Windows)

I think I must have accidentally uninstalled my Visio application. I haven't used it in years, but just came across some graphics that need to be revised. I'm hoping to figure out a way of importing them into Illustrator or some other Adobe product so that I can revise them.

Is there some kind of Demo version or other utility I can use to open and save as these legacy Visio files?

    TIA

You can download a 60 day evaluation version of Visio from the Microsoft Website. That should be long enough to transfer your files.
