    Error 1603 (vista ult)

    I am trying to install updates for my wireless keyboard and mouse on vista ult [ms keyboard:comfort keyboard 4000 and ms mouse laser mouse 5000 ]
    I keep getting the following error.I have looked but can't find a fix that works.

    Have you tried re-booting and trying the install again? Make sure you run the install as administrator. Make sure you have all prerequisites installed.

    In addition what Joe said, it is VERY important:

    - Right-click Setup.exe (or another installation file) and from pop-up menu select "Run as Administrator", then confirm your choice.

    Joe.
    First thing I did.
    I did not fix the error but backed up thunderbird with mozbackup uninstalled and reinstalled all seems to work fine now.
