Can you use custom toolbar from Office XP (Office 2007)

Just start a new job where they use Office 2007. Very different looking for me. Hopefully will get used to it!
I was used to using my own customized toolbar(s) shortcuts for years. How can I use them in 2007? or perhaps it can't be done?

    Thanks
    Louise

Microsoft has replaced the toolbars used in Office 2003 and before with the so-called ribbon in Office 2007. Although the ribbon can be customized, it's not easy if you're not familiar with XML. See Customizing the Office 2007 Ribbon for some third-party tools.

There's a seriously dumbed down version of the old toolbars in Office 2007: the Quick Access Toolbar. See Customize the Quick Access Toolbar.

    Hans,
I checked the link for Customizing the Office 2007 Ribbon from the "The Word MVP Site". Looks interesting. Do you happen to know if it will do Excel as well or is it just for Word. I used different toolbars for Word than I did for Excel.

    Thanks again,
    Louise

From the RibbonCustomizer website: "RibbonCustomizer™ is an add-in for Microsoft® Access™, Excel®, Outlook®, PowerPoint® and Word 2007". (Please note that there is a free Starter Edition and a commercial Pro version with more features)

ToolbarToggle works with Word, Excel and PowerPoint 2007; it comes in two (commercial) versions: Standard and Lite. The website lists the differences.
