    Re: XP Proff SP2

The tab Patched doesn't contain any suspect programs - those are listed in the Insecure and End-of-Life tabs.

The colored bars on the right hand side indicate the seriousness of the problem that has been repaired in the latest update to the program.

You could have reduced the size of the picture by reducing the width of the Secunia window. Saving a screenshot as a .png file generally gives a better quality picture at a smaller file size than a .jpg file.

    Secunia patched/unpatched programs

    Subject edited by HansV

I have just ran Secunia which gave a perfectly clean bill of health, indicating that there are no in-secure programs but when I clicked on the "View Patched Programs" it shows no less than 21 being suspect. I took a screen shot of the report & selected a section of 13. Would appreciate an explanation for why these are showing suspect despite the clean report. I reduced the quality factor to 22 hoping to reduce the size of the attachment .. if it appears unnecessarily large what else do I need to do to reduce it in the event of wanting to send a similar screen shot in the future please? Regards SF.

Thank you Hans. I get it now that if there are none shown in the two categories you name, all is well. As for the screen shot I have just done a test in the "Test" area and it was half the width so it seems I am on the right track somehow. Must get them smaller though so maybe next time it will be more acceptable. Hope you have a most enjoyable Christmas....cheers Dave.
