    Problems (Windows Vista Home Premium)

Hi: I need a bit of help. mI just bought Windows Vista, but I am having a few problems. My Microsoft Office XP loaded fine, but it will not load the animated help assistants. Can anyone tell me why.
When I pick up my email off the server instead of getting the pictures in some emails I am getting red x's; I don't know how to fix it. Also the last problem is the biggest. I have a Palm Centro cell phone from Sprint that will not sync to the Internet; I called Palm and they told me they have not updated their phones to work with Windows Vista; does anyone know of a patch that can fix this? I called Sprint and they said they do not have any Palm Centro's or Palm Treo's that are compatible with Vista. Are these people crazy? Vista has been out 3 years, shouldn't they have developed something by now so their phones will sync information to the internet?

    HELP!!!! <img src=/S/dizzy.gif border=0 alt=dizzy width=15 height=15>

About the Office Assistant, see How to get the Office Assistant (Office 2003) to work in Windows Vista = hopefully it works for Office XP too.

Which e-mail client are you using? Outlook 2002?

Someone at Palm didn't give you the correct skinny, I think.

I've had a Palm Treo 680 for about a year and when I installed Vista in May 2008, I found a Vista-capable Palm Desktop here. I think it also talks about Outlook too, so you should take a look as it may involve two of your questions:

Palm - Support - Windows Vista Compatibility

PS That Vista Palm Desktop doesn't work for XP darn it...

    Hi bigaldoc:

I went to that website that you gave me. It enables me to download the entire thing, but then it will not do a hot sync. I can't figure it out.

    Select Tools | Options...
    Activate the Security tab.
If the check box "Block images and other external content" is ticked, images will be displayed as red x-es. This is a security measure.
If you wish, you can clear the check box.

Aha, you didn't say anywhere here that you have the 64 bit version. Sorry.
