    <Snip> Question (Outlook 2000)

I often get replies to e-mail that have various designations for "snipped" text in the body of the message where the person "cut out" something to shorten the text, etc. Does Outlook have any way of configuring this so that when some portion of the original message you are replying to is removed, a "snip" or some other noticeable designation is automatically inserted?

You can set Outlook up to insert a comment whenever you have edited the original text, if that will help. Go to Tools-Options-Preferences. Click on Email Options, then select "Mark My Comments With..."

    Hope this helps,
