CD/DVD not Recognized (Vista Home Premium (x64)/SP-1)

For no apparent reason, my Optiarc BD ROM BC 5800 CD/DVD drive no longer recognizes media in Vista. It will boot Norton Ghost DOS CD, but while COMPUTER recognizes the drive it indicates there is no media in it, when in fact there is the Ghost CD....Device Manager says it cannot load the driver because it is corrupt or missing (also same message for scsi cdrom drive and synaptics touch pad...all three have yellow explanation marks). Computer is an HP HDX..Any clues???!!

From Device Manager, right click on each of the drives and select Uninstall. When you reboot, Vista should automatically load the correct drivers. As for the touch pad, you should be able to download and install the correct driver from HP's site.
