    Mysterious Old Addresses (Outlook 2007: 12.0.6316.5000 SP1 MSO 12.0.6320.5000)

When I begin a new e-mail and key in the first character or two of an addressee, Outlook presents me with a list of possibilities for me to choose from.

What has puzzled me for some time is that old addresses I once had in my address book, but which are no longer in my address book, appear in this list.

I check Contacts. I check Address Book. The old names no longer exist there. So where is the 'new e-mail' program picking up these old addresses? I'd like to get rid of them if I could, mostly because I have had several people change their address, yet when the old and the new pop up when craeting a new e-mail, I forget which is the newer and correct one.

    Thank you,

    Tom

Thank you. The simple delete seems to work. I appreciate it.
