    spybot 1.6

When you set up Spybot 1.6 on a system, part of the setup process includes making a copy of the registry. Where is this copy of the registry stored? A friend installed Spybot while he was infected with several trojan horses. We got rid of the trojan horses using MALWAREBYTES but now want to get rid of the registry copy which includes the trojan horses. Thanks for you help.

Yup - it was there. Once we delete it, is there a way to have Spybot do another Registry backup?

Make sure that you are in advanced mode (Mode | Advanced Mode).
Click Settings on the left hand side.
Click Settings in the list of items that appears.
Click the Wizard button near the top of the Spybot window.
