    One-Note (2007 )

I recently reinstalled my operating system and had to reinstall all of my software. I need to restore my one note file but don't know what it is named or how to find it. I have everything backed up. Could you explain how to do it? Is it just a matter of moving a file from my backup into a particular folder? Thanks for your help. I didn't see a One-note topic so I am not sure you suppport it here. if not, could you point me in the right direction? Thanks again.

Does Backup and restore your notes - OneNote - Microsoft Office Online help?

Note: the default location on a Vista system is incorrect. It should be C:Usersuser nameAppDataLocalMicrosoftOneNote12.0Backup

Your one note file is in the My Documents folder on your user name
