    COMBO BOXES (2007)

Is there any way of changing the minuscule font size in the drop-down list? I am in in Excel 2007 but I think the same problem existed in 2003.

What kind of dropdown list are you talking about? (I'll use Excel 2003 terminology as I don't have 2007)
    - Combo boxes from the Forms toolbar.
    - Combo boxes from the Control Toolbox toolbar.
    - Dropdown lists defined by Data | Validation with the List option.

Combo boxes from the Control Toolbox - not the ActiveX, the Form Controls.

Combo boxes from the Control Toolbox ARE ActiveX controls.
You can specify the font to be used as follows:
    - Turn on design mode (first button on the Control Toolbox).
    - Select the combo box.
    - Display the Properties window (second button on the Control Toolbox).
    - Click in the Font property.
    - Click the ... button in this property.

Don't forget to turn off design mode when you're done.
Keep in mind that the text size also depends on the zoom percentage - if you view your worksheet at 50%, fonts will also be displayed at 50% of their original size.
