    INDEX() (2003)

    On the attached spread sheet J4 looks up L4 and the array in P4 to Q52 and displays the date from column Q against the value in column P which matches the value in L4.

    Column S is a concatenation of columns T and U. I was hoping to display in M4 the value from column S against the value in column R which matches the value in L4.

    I have tried a number of variations of the formula in J4 (which works) in M4 to no avail.

    Can anyone help please?

    Regards

    Graeme

    It would have been easier if you had posted a workbook rather than an image, but do you mean:
    <code>=INDEX($S$4:$S$54,MATCH(L4,$R$4:$R$54,0))</code>

    Thanks Rory

    That's just what I wanted.

    Don't know why I posted the jpg!
