File Preferences in Word 2007 (Word 2007)

I'm running Word 2007 under Vista 64-bit. I've just moved from XP. In XP there was a way to tell Word, and other applications, a default file to go to when reading or saving documents. I suppose there is the same facility in Word 2007, but I can't find it. Any help appreciated. Thanks. Bob CHapman

Re: File Preferences in Word 2007 (Word 2007)

I'm currently in Word 2003, but it look as though the "File Locations" list (where you can set your documents path) is available in Word Options > Advanced.

    <A target="_blank" HREF="http://jeffersonscher.com/Off2007/sc.php?i=wo5-advanced-7"><IMG SRC=http://jeffersonscher.com/Off2007/sc.php?i=wo5-advanced-7_th>
    Options: General [Advanced]</A>

    Does that work?
