    XCOPY (XP SP-2)

I am using XCOPY in the following fashion: xcopy "C:Shared Templates" "H:udataShared Templates" /e /y
Is there a switch that will copy ONLY files that have been modified or created after the last time XCOPY was executed? Any guidance is appreciated. Thanks!!!

You can't do exactly what you are asking for with XCOPY. See the /XO option for Robocopy which you can download as part of the Download details: Windows Server 2003 Resource Kit Tools. NOTE: the resource kit is for XP also.

Also, check out Karen's Replicator. It is <img src=/S/free.gif border=0 alt=free width=30 height=15> for home use and inexpensive for work use.

Here are the switches I use...

    xcopy "data*.*" "hata" /d /e /c /h /y

Note however, that it will also copy any new files that have been placed in the folder.

Refer to Leif's reply for the definition of the various switches.
