    missing OS raid0 [stripping]

I have just put 4 new 500 gig drives [WD] into my tower with a new m/b ASUS P5Q Dulux.
When I install vista onto the raid 0 all goes well until the first reboot I get a black screen with the message MISSING operating system.
The raid 0 is boot able.I have searched around on the web but only found a lot of dead ends.I did find a fix for linex using grub??? but that's about all.
Any idea as to ware the os has gone missing to??
Could it be a bios setting?
If I go back to the raid section I get a failed notice.
I have installed the drivers from the m/b disc during install.
Is the drive to big for vista??

Work has been cutting into my online time.
But after a lot of beer and not much golf I have sorted the problem.

So what was the cause? It might help someone else who finds your post with a search.

I am not 100% sure but it seems that vista or something in the boot file [I think thats what you call it]
Could not read the end of the drive [1.86tb] and there for did not find the OS.
I created a small partition [400gig ] at the front of the raid and loaded the os in that and it all worked.
Weather this was the correct way to fix the problem I don't know. But it seems to have worked.
