Reminder message is not appearing (2003)

    Reminder message is not appearing.
The error message reads; "There was a problem reading one or more of your
reminders. Some reminders may not appear. Can not locate recurrence
    information for this appointment."
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have now tried but no error message appears.

Just to add I did the following without any joy:

Let the user try the following:

    1) Select Tools | Options...
    Activate the Other tab.
    Click Advanced Options...
    Click Reminder Options...
Make sure that the check box "Display the reminder" is ticked.
Click OK three times to close all the dialogs.

    2) Quit all instances of Outlook.
    Select Start | Run...
Type outlook /cleanreminders and press Enter or click OK.
This will clear, then generate all reminders again.

    3) If the previous step doesn't help, try the same but with outlook /cleanfreebusy

If you have an idea about which appointment or task it might be you could try deleting it and re-adding it.

Call resolved - PST was over storage limit, moved in to archive and this worked.

Glad you found it. If you change the PST to a Unicode format the stoage limit is much larger. See Convert an old PST to a Unicode PST for more details.
